Applesauce has been in his new home for a year.
When he came from a shelter, he had been a stray. He was named Criss-Cross Applesauce and he was in rough shape.
We took him to an ophthalmologist and he had neuter and dental surgery. His mouth was a mess but the vet helped his so much. He healed well and was a happy boy.
He adjusted quickly to his new home.
His new mom wrote me yesterday.
Applesauce has filled her life w so much joy.
His groomer lives close and comes to the house.
He loves his bed but he loves his toys even more. Sometimes, he climbs on top of them to take a nap.
He is the most loving dog. Pure sweetness.
I’m so glad he has such a happy life now. It’s what rescue is all about. 🥰
