Finley came into rescue in 2019. His dad had died suddenly and his mom had dementia. She was going into assisted living and couldn't take him.
Finley was only 3 years old. Robin picked him up to foster him temporarily. BUT.... she ended up falling in love with him and adopting him.
We thought he was part Peke and part King Charles Cavalier. We were wrong! He's all Pekingese!
Finley is a happy boy- I love his Koala bed! (Melinda/Lady Jicky, are you seeing this!?)
He looks like he has an overbite-- I've asked Robin if he does. Bogie has one, too.
After settling in, he has become a wonderful boy.
I think he loves his new life! 💙
Have you done a DNA test on any of your dogs? Were you surprised at the results?

Oh..... sorry, I adore Finley the 100% Pekingese with a Koala twist too ! lol
yes i did 3 tests. but used the canine wisdom one. had 2 full pekingese and a match for parentage for their baby (i knew he was just wanted to see if the test would show!) and then the other dog was 87 pekingese and the rest shitzhu. i love these dna tests its so cool to know!
