Bernie was saved from euthanasia in 2017 by Jennifer Hart, a wonderful rescuer.
Bernie was a precious boy and he deserved every chance life could offer him.
He joined Claire's family and was cherished there.
Bernie had all he needed, but he was an older boy.
He was about 15, and he was showing signs of getting older.
He began to lose the ability to walk and get around.
Claire wrote, "God had a plan for our little guy! He has been the greatest comfort during the Pandemic. Such a loving, brave and gentle little soul 
"
He loved his mom so much.
Bernie couldn't move around and he stopped eating and drinking. His mom knew it was time to say good-bye to her precious boy.
His mom and dad miss him so much, but they loved him too much to let him continue as he was.
He gently left them, love surrounding him. You were loved, Bernie. Rest now. 💙

Claire , little Bernie had a lovely life with you and I know he will be so missed.
We are in "Lock Down" right now and I know just what you mean when you said Bernie was the best comfort and joy in the pandemic.
