BUFFY-- 13 YEARS!

In spring of 2009, we received an unusual request.
This young Peke, about a year old, had been bred and then turned into a shelter.   She was in Louisiana.  We never take Louisiana dogs.   But...... Buffy was at risk of becoming another breeder dog and a rescue friend there pleaded for us to take her, to get her quickly.   She got her from the shelter before anyone else could have a chance.
She set up a transport to our rescue, and we helped her.   She came to our picnic that year and met her new dad. Don and her new mom, Joy.
And a life of love and luxury began.
She met her new brother, Ollie, another PVPC alumni.
Buffy's new life was incredible.   After all, she had moved to "The Christmas House" which is a wonderland of joy.   (I was able to visit several times, and even take my grandkids there when they were younger.)
She became a very pampered girl-- the life she should have always had.
She is the perfect little girl.
She loves kids and everyone she meets.
Buffy is about 14 now.   Sometimes, she gets confused.   But, she keeps on going.
She is a very loved girl.  💜
