One thing about rescue and having facebook-- you meet some wonderful people.
and their dogs! You meet people and dogs from all over the world.
Monty is 12 years old and he loves to play. He loves people and dogs and walking.
Monty lives in Denmark! Of all the things he loves, he loves his mommy the most.
I see Monty's pictures and can see how loved he is.
Like many Pekes, he lost an eye. It's not uncommon for this to happen. Pekes have no nose to protect their eyes or give them warning they are about to hit something.
The nose is like a big antennae to warn of oncoming objects of danger. And Pekes with their shallow eye sockets make losing an eye possible. 😢😞
Monty loves to watch his world from his deck. His owner is Lotte and she's active on facebook, so I can keep updated on her boy.
It's an honor to meet people from all over. I may never meet in person, but I feel we find friends with common likness and goals. It's a gift!

Oh Lotte ... your Monty is a beautiful Peke as his colouring is just a beatiful red and of course we do love Monty for he has our Princess Mary from Australia living right there in Denmark!
