Losing your owner is confusing, but she realized she was safe.
She was about 11 then, three years ago.
She loved being in baskets-- I guess she wanted to help.
Her mom has a great Christmas house and Mitzie loved being under the tree. This is a precious picture.
She had big expressive eyes. Such a beautiful girl.
Mitzie was losing the use of her back legs, so her mom carried her a lot.
She wasn't always a cuddle bug-- some just aren't. But, she wanted to know where her mom was.
She was still a happy girl. She would roll around.
Oh, Mitzie-- your eyes show how much you loved your mom.
Mitzie made her mom laugh every day. She loved to boss the other dogs. She began a slow decline and her mom slept on the floor with her, ready to take her to the vet the next morning. Mitzie chose to leave on her own terms during the night. She chose her way-- to be with her mom, in her home, with love around her. Run free now, little one. So many ran to greet you. 💖🌈
