Cinnamon Cookie came into rescue six weeks ago.
She was in a shelter in the western part of Virginia. She was turned in w 4 other Pekingese.
Cinnamon settled right in at my house. She needs a quiet home. She is terrified of sudden noise.
She didn’t play w toys when she came. But she discovered them and loves them.
She has a ramp to get on the couch. And she loves to snuggle in blankets for a nap.
Cinnamon had a dental yesterday. I knew that she was missing teeth and her lower front teeth weren’t there. X-rays showed her mouth was kind of a mess. Some teeth were missing but the roots were still there and some of the roots were starting to come through the gums. Not good. We thought she might need two dentals since it looked like a lot of roots would need to be removed. But the vet dentist was amazed how easily they came out so it was all done in one session. It’s so important to take care of our dogs teeth.
Cinnamon needs soft food for awhile. No problem there.
Piper and Paddington were so excited when she came home.
It was a sweet reunion.
She will be just fine. I’m so glad PVPC could help her. 💖

So happy to read that only one dental needed to be done .
