WELCOME TO RESCUE EMBER

Ember came into rescue last Thursday night.   She was in rough shape and very thin.
She was under 11 pounds because she had been abandoned, but she's eating great now.   She was peeking on the stairs.
Charlie (formerly Marshmallow, PVPC alumni), joined her a little further down.
Ember saw the vet this week.   She had her bloodwork and it was good.  YAY!
She needs a dental badly-- she will probably lose all her teeth.   Her bad mouth is probably what is causing the big sniffles-- fistulas might be in her mouth and those will be repaired.    We are trying to get her in quickly.
She also has a mass on her lip which will be removed and biopsied.   We hope it is nothing.
His foster mom has a jacket for her because it's been so cold.
For now, Ember is doing well.   She is eating and resting...  She's so sweet and seems to be housetrained.   She gets along with other dogs and is just a little joy.
Charlie is going to encourage her on all that is in front of her.
Her foster mom said, "Given all she's been through, she's got the spirit of a lion."   I love that.
Ember's care will be very expensive, but we will do what she needs.    WE ARE RESCUE. 💜
