FAREWELL POTOMAC VALLEY LOUIE

Potomac Valley Louie was just a puppy when he came into rescue.
He came to us in July 2011.   He was 9 months old.
He had been hit by a car and his eyes were severely injured.
His owners couldn't afford to help him and took him to a shelter.
He had to have both eyes removed, but he was young and he adjusted wonderfully.
His smell and hearing took over and he had years of adventures when he was adopted by a very special new mom.
He went to the beach, and camping, and so many other places.   His mom had him with her whenever she could.
Potomac Valley Louie was 13 when he passed away recently.   I was so sad to hear about it.
He was a very special boy.
Run free, beautiful boy.   You were loved by so many.  💙

I adopted my Sabrina in 2018 from Rockwall Pets in Texas she had one eye and the other one was severely damaged and she could only see shadows. She bumped into the wall a little a first, until she learned the house. I just didn’t move any furniture. She enjoyed the beach and traveling. Rest easy Potomac Valley Louie.
