Amy in her pink coat...

Amy, one of our foster dogs, had surgery this week. She was spayed and had a dental. She was near to having pyometra (Click here: Pyometra & Uterus Infections in Dogs ), a very serious infection for female dogs. This can occur with any unspayed female, and can be fatal. This is one of the reasons we make sure all our foster dogs are spayed and neutered-- it's just healthier.
She is resting in her bed, with her new pink coat on. She's just one of those dogs who needs a little extra layering when it gets cold.
She's healing nicely. Her foster friend, Cindy, is keeping her company. Recovering dogs need all the sympathy they can get!
She will be ready for a new home soon. I think she's dreaming of that in this picture.
If you are interested in adopting her, please email me at haveninhim@aol.com or her foster mom at brev498@aol.com .

Moi Moi sends her love to Amy for she knows what "lady problems" can be like .

Hope Ms Amy and her pink coat find a nice home real soon!
