Sophie has been healing so well from her surgery-- spay, hernias, dental.
She loves to cuddle--
Can we get this thing off my head?
She is doing well and not bothering her staples/stitches at all. Except with her feet-- and she has pulled out a few staples. The incision is secure.
So, I took off her e-collar and she was happy. Isn't she stunning! And she has gained some weight!
And little Super Dog-- she can climb stairs!
She seems to be looking back at her success. She "sees" with her ears and her smell.
She loves to wander in the yard.
She usually has her leash on so I can guide her away from any sticks. She does amazingly well.
She heard a dog in another yard-- or was it the wind. Her hearing is amazing. Blind dogs adjust so well, and Sophie has probably been without sight most, if not all, of her life. It doesn't bother her.
She is so sweet. I can do anything to her. She gets drops in her eyes, and just lets me do it. What a sweetheart! Just six more days and she gets to go to her new home. Yippee for Sophie!
