Maxwell, "Max" (formerly Maximus) came to us in June of 2010 when his owner could no longer care for him.
They also had a Cocker Spaniel and we were able to assist in finding him a home. That's what rescue does-- we all help others if we can. Rescues working together is the BEST.
Max loved balls and he would play and play.
Sweet friends of mine adopted him and he had the BEST home for 12 years.
He was so beautiful-- and quite a hit in the neighborhood.
He loved everyone.
He came to visit several years ago, and he was as sweet and beautiful as ever. His care was incredible.
Age caught up with him-- he was 14 and had begun having medical issues. Everything was done to help him. We just can't fix "old." We wish we could.
Run free now, Max. Your mom and dad will miss you so much.
