Lil Man came into rescue when his owner could not afford his care. He had been adopted from a shelter but they can usually only do basic care
His mouth was a mess and he lost 13 teeth. He went to the ophthalmologist because one of his eyes was bulgy. He had glaucoma which can be very painful. Normal numbers are below 25 and and his were 30-60. Ouch!! We tried drops and it helped but he had no vision in his eye so it made sense to remove it and have no more problems.
He was held and snuggled after surgery. ❤️
They let him hang out in the break room to watch for his foster mom.
They came by to see me on the way home.
He has pain meds and he will heal quickly. It’s all behind him.
He even wagged his little tail for me. He’s so small. Under ten pounds.

Sending healing vibes to Lil Man ..... he is so cute and so small.
Glad he is doing so well. If his surgery was in VB I assume Animal Eye Care did it. They are so good.
