SUGAR BIT-- VET IN TRAINING

 Sugar Bit has been around the Pekes since she was born.  She has learned a compassion for them. 

 She loves our new ones, BeeBee and Nala.  And they adore her, especially Nala. 

 Sugar Bit goes to the vet with me a lot-- she's my little helper.

 BeeBee was there with Nala to have their IMHA levels checked.

 Their color seems to be good lately, so I was hopeful.   I've talked about IMHA before-- it's a devastating disease/condition and most don't survive.  Both Sisters have it.

 Kai Kai was there, too-- he needed some updating that I had put off due to his stroke in February.  (He needed time to heal.)   He is doing much better, has seemed to stabilize, and is doing well.

 Sugar Bit had been to the vet before and Dr. Meador let her listen to BeeBee's heart. 

 So, this time, we took all of Sugar Bit's vet kit (thank you, Kathi!) and they first checked out the heart on the little vet kit dog. 

 Then, Dr. Meador and Sugar Bit both listened to Nala.

 Sugar Bit was in awe of Dr. Meador.

It was a long day, and on the way home, Sugar Bit covered up with my jacket to rest.   She's a great little helper!!  ❤️
