Aimee had been part of his transport on May 1, 2009. Robin fostered him, but...
Aimee couldn't get him out of her mind. She adopted him and he joined his new sister, Nala.
His mom said, "Simba was the absolute best dog that anyone could ever ask for! He was happy to hang out at home, loved car rides with us, it didn’t matter where we went, he just loved his people and we loved him. He had the funniest quirks. When he wanted or needed something, he would squawk. He was a great travel buddy!
Even with my father getting ready to take his final leave, Simba was there to comfort me and my family, including my father. That’s something that I’ll never forget. He was a rescue from Potomac Valley Pekingese Club, he had it rough before he ended up getting the good life. This boy appreciated everything, toys, chews, clothes, car rides, treat, everything. He just loved everything we had to offer him."
Simba was such a good boy.
And a good sport! ❤️💙
He was with Dudley and Nala here-- the Three Amigos. All have crossed the Bridge now.
His mom could do anything with him--he loved it. He will be so missed.
His mom said he would carry a toy for company on his walk. That's adorable!
We think he was 3-4 when he came into rescue, so he was 14-15.
It's so hard when we have to say good-bye. Their time with us is such a gift, and his mom and dad knew that.
His mom, "Simba Bub Bear, mom and dad love you with all of our hearts."
Run free, breathe free now sweet boy. 💙❤️
