Mattie. Beautiful Mattie was rescued this month 5 years ago. In a crate, by a bank. My daughter was at the bank (one she rarely used) and saved her. There was a note at the bottom of the crate. Mattie needed help.
Mattie was a foster and knows what a great thing that is to be taken care of and loved. Now she is helping a foster dog—Cash.
Mattie has been a great big sister. She even protected Cash.
They were out on a walk when a male dog came rushing at Cash!
Poor Cash! He was terrified.
Mattie took over! No dog was going to fuss at her boy! Mattie let this dog know, in no uncertain terms, that Cash was her best friend and she was going to protect him! The other dog hid behind his owner. Mattie rarely shows her feisty side, but when she does, she becomes mama bear!
Cash is a lucky boy to have such a great protector. He’s affectionate and loving. As soon as his medical is finished, he’s going to be a permanent part of the family. I love that! 🥰
