FAREWELL BRIDGET

Bridget came into rescue in 2017.  She had been turned into the shelter by her owner.
We don't know why.
She was a senior, and we love the older ones.
Bridget came to my area for fostering, so I was lucky to meet this sweet girl.
She went to her forever home with Elaine in Richmond.  You can see how thrilled Elaine was to have Bridget join her family.
Bridget looked so cute in her hats-- she had several.
She celebrated many birthdays with her new mom.
She loved looking out the door.
Bridget had jackets for the cold and loved to go out with her mom.
Snow?   She pulled on her hoodie.
Seniors love naps and Bridget was very good at them.
But, she was ready for adventures, too.
A ride?   Looked like a great option for her.
Bridget was over 18 and still doing well.
But, this past week-end, in the middle of the night, she began having breathing issues.   Her mom rushed her to the emergency vet, but Bridget left her on the way.   She was ready.
Bridget lived a very long, incredible life with her mom,  She was loved.  She was adored.
Run free now, sweet girl,  💜
