Lucky came into rescue in 2017.
His owner had turned him into a shelter and he was in rough shape. His foster mom became his forever mom very shortly after she got him. She found out he was cat like. He liked to climb on window ledges and peek out from the curtains.
Lucky was about 9 when he came into rescue, so he was at least 14 1/2.
He was one of those dogs who liked to observe things.
He loved to be close and sleep in bed with you.
His health declined and he rested more.
He was Jennifer's heart dog-- most of us know how special those dogs are.
They just move right into your heart and take over a big part of it.
He was such a sweet boy and he got along with the other dogs who came into Sherry and Jennifer's home. I think he let them know they would be safe there.
Lucky's last 5 1/2 years were the best of his life.
