DIAMOND AND PIPER-- CHRISTMAS

Diamond came to us in such need-- but look at her now.   She was adopted and her mom and dad told me her skin and hair continue to heal.   She is blind (she has no eyes now), but her hearing is fine and she loves getting into the toy basket and dumping the toys out.    Her health has changed so much that the only medication she has is apoquel for some allergies.  (So many were part of her journey by supporting our work to help her and so many others.  We are so grateful.)
Diamond and Piper have their own stockings.  They are hung on the bookcase.
This will be Diamond's first Christmas with her family.
Piper has his own ornament on the tree.
And so does Diamond.    I have a candy cane almost just like this on my front door. :-)
The decorating is done and Piper and his sweet sister....
Diamond will now rest and wait for Santa.    Seeing these two dogs makes my heart feel so good.   They are why we rescue.   ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’“
