Delilah was adopted from our rescue years ago.
She was with Lootie (who died in January, and Sampson, who died in 2021).
The three of them had been adopted by Jelene-- and Jelene had a plan in case something happened to her.
Jelene died in 2019, but her dogs were well cared for and greatly loved by her friends Monica and Mark. Jelene had made plans for her beloved dogs to go to them. (We all need to do that.)
Delilah was a beautiful girl.
She was about 15.
She had four wonderful years with her family.
You could see how relaxed she was. She began to experience the symptoms that so many get as age creeps in. Sight and vision diminish, but they still feel and give love. And that's what Delilah did-- she loved.
Run free now sweet girl. I'm sure Jelene, Sampson and Lottie were there to greet her. 💜🌈

What wonderful people that took Delilah in for it does take a big decision to do this and you can see in the photos Delilah had a fabulous second home.
I bet she is very missed.
