MARLEE IN HER FOSTER HOME

Marlee was turned into a shelter and we were able to help her.
She had a bath and haircut and I’m sure she felt so much better.
We don’t get many girls in rescue.  I’ve never figured out why we get more boys than girls.
Marlee went to her vet appointment.  She is overweight at 25 pounds, but we knew she needed to lose weight.
We didn’t know that she has a very bad heart.  She was referred to the cardiologist and we were lucky we have an appointment open up the next day.
She has an enlarged heart, a heart murmur, and leaky valves.  She is now on five different meds to help her.
Marlee is now part of our “Forever Foster” group.  She was given 6-12 months to live but we think she will fight to live longer.  However long she has, it will be filled with love and joy.  That’s what we do.  WE ARE RESCUE.
