I want you to meet Sawyer-- he was turned in to a Virginia shelter.
He was missing most of his hair. He needed to gain weight.
He wasn't sure what was happening and he was so scared in the shelter.
So, we were able to help by fostering him until his "stray hold" was up. It meant we could help his skin, give him baths, attention and care. Now he's ours and he can have more medical care, like neutering and a dental done.
He LOVES to go for walks, he's eating well and look at that smile! We're not sure of his age yet, but we'll get an idea from the vet. Welcome to rescue, Sawyer!!
