Camp Runamuck is beginning day 8. Two more days and we'll have some peace and quiet again. Our daughter and son in law are on a mission trip to Nicaragua. I'm so proud of the work they are doing there-- my house has all the grandkids and we are busy, and loud! Starlight is wondering where all the noise is coming from, so she hangs close to my desk.
The grand-bits get in the oddest places-- like under the ottoman, where Drill Bit got stuck. It's amazing how they can get INTO places, but not out of them on their own.
I also find them going around things and I just catch a glimpse of them.
They all love each other, though!! I love to watch the older Bits with the younger Bits.
And the baby Bits love the same toys-- sometimes at the same time. This can be good and bad.
And there are times when the dogs just need to be where it's quieter and out of the line of trouble. They don't really understand this-- it's their house after all.
But, common sense tells me that sometimes, we just need to separate the Bits and the dogs to give a time out for all.
And at the end of the day, everyone settles down, and it gets calm and sometimes, I find a Bit asleep in my bed. All is peaceful-- and quiet. :-)
