Paws became a member of Barbara's home in 2000 when she was 12 weeks old.
Barbara and her husband, Ty, have had many dogs over their marriage, but Paws was very special. She had an amazing ability to make Barbara feel serene and peaceful whenever she was nearby.
Paws passed away February 2, 2015, and losing her was so difficult for Barbara-- part of her heart left with her.
Paws left behind her friend, Charley. Charley let Paws be the boss, but after Paws was gone, Charley began to follow her mom everywhere.
Charley (below) is now 13, and usually sleeps. But, when she is awake, she cries if she can't see her mom-- maybe Barbara is Charley's heart person.
Paws left a huge hole in Barbara's heart, but she went on to adopt two from us-- both fosters that she decided to keep. Paws will always be in her heart, and would be very happy that her mom has other Pekes to love.
