In November of 2017, we were asked to help sweet Buddy Love. He was in a Maryland shelter.
He went to a foster home in Virginia and he never left.
He was such a beautiful boy.
His sister, Dusty, wasn't too sure about him at first, but they became so close.
Buddy loved his new home and was so relaxed there.
Buddy went on vacations and had so much love.
His sister, Dusty, passed away two years ago. She was a tiny one and I remember meeting her at one of our picnics and falling in love right away.
Buddy became and only boy and he actually enjoyed all the extra attention.
Buddy developed a heart condition and it was manageable until the past month. He began having trouble breathing and his enlarged heart made it difficult to breath. His mom knew it was time to let him go peacefully.
Losing them is hard, but the years of love remain forever. Run free, sweet boy.

Buddy will be so missed and I just love that last photo of him in the car.
