Trixie came into rescue in September 2021.
She was turned into a NC shelter by her owner and she needed help.
She was a tiny one, and so precious.
Kim and Dave fostered her and were going to adopt her as soon as she was medically cleared.
Right before that, though, her blood work showed some things that were off.
Her blood pressure wasn't right and she had kidney issues. She had a lot of kidney stones, so a new diet was begun. She gained weight though and she was a beautiful tiny girl, who was so sweet and loving.
She suddenly took a turn. She began losing weight, down from 9 pounds to 6 1/2 pounds. Her mom knew it was time. She held her as she let her go. It was a hard, but a right decision.
We are so glad that Trixie had a year of love and care with Kim and Dave. She was loved deeply. Run free, precious one. 💜
