FAREWELL ANGEL

I received an email last September asking if I could help find a home for these two Shih-Tzus.  Their mom could no longer care for them and they needed help.
Angel and her brother, Bucky, were very bonded.
They were nine years old we were told.
Angel and Bucky had heart murmurs, but dogs can live with those for years.
Angel was very spirited and took charge in her new home with Sherry.   She kept everyone in line, including her brother.
In November, she was diagnosed with CHF (congestive heart failure).  She began meds for it and Sherry hoped they would work for a long time.
On February 8, she began to have trouble-- loss of appetite, inactivity and a pounding heart.   CHF can escalate quickly and this is what happened to Angel.  Her mom took her to the vet, but there was nothing that could be done.
Little Bucky will miss his best friend so much and Sherry, who loved her immensely, will miss her happy spirit.    She can breathe freely now-- run free sweet girl.
