Me. Dickson is one of our foster dogs. He’s 9-10.
He’s super sweet and he really attaches to his person.
He was a big boy when he came to us, but his foster mom Toni, has been helping him lose weight.
At his last check up, he was down to 20 pounds. Another pound or two and it will be much better. Extra weight puts a lot of stress on the joints.
Mr. Dickson had his dental this week. We do these on most of our dogs.
You never know what is going on beneath the gum line. With Mr. Dickson, one of his teeth was resorbing. This can’t be seen with the eye, only by X-ray. It can be very painful.
Mr. Dickson is on the mend now and ready for a forever home. He would love to be an only dog so he doesn’t have to share his family. If you are interested, go to www.potomacpekes.org and fill out an application. He’s a sweet boy
