NOVEMBER IS ADOPT A SENIOR DOG MONTH.
PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING A HOME TO A SENIOR.
"SENIOR DOGS ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO BE LOVED."
Butters came to us when he was turned into a shelter by his owner. He is blind and deaf, but he is loving. He likes to wander outside. He is about 14 now. "OLD DOGS, LIKE OLD SHOES, ARE COMFORTABLE."
Olivia came to us when her owner died. A friend was trying to take care of her, but she was having trouble and asked us to help. Olivia is about 16 and small at 12 pounds. She can see a little and is a sweetheart. She is available for adoption."Old dogs may not always hear you when you call. and sometimes they can't see the ball when you throw it, but the love they have for you shines in their eyes and will neve grow old." Old dogs are past the puppy stage and are settled. They are so grateful to have a home.

Mei Li's owner passed away and a friend took care of her for awhile. Mei Li is a sweetheart. She is having her medical care done and then will be available for adoption. She is 13 years old.
They may be a little gray, but they are young at heart. Rescues take in a lot of older dogs. Sissy has a lot of gray now, but sweetness is in overload. She's going to live her life with me. And Zoey and Minnie---
"OLD DOGS MAY BE A BIT OUT OF SHAPE, AND ROUGH AROUND
THE EDGES, BUT THEY FIT WELL."
Some are turned in because their owners pass away. Some have medical issues. Some are just not wanted anymore. Zoey and Sissy's owners passed away.
We don't know what happened to Suzie's home-- but she's safe now.
Bridget was 14 when she was adopted-- and now she's 18!
Gypsy was a stray, and is a senior. He is a sweetheart and so grateful to be safe and loved.Lady is 13-- I'm not sure why her owners gave her up. She's just about perfect. Just ask her new mom! 💜
I love the senior dogs. They may not have as long to live with you, but the love is abundant. I encourage people to adopt the seniors. They are SO special! We don't know what happened to Suzie's home-- but she's safe now.

My last two Pekingese were "senior"... x breeding Peke's and I really believe they were so easy to have around the house .
Now , Yum Yum was a puppy and I thought I had "one more puppy in my life" because you do need the energy and commitment to training , cleaning up mistakes and those puppy teeth are like sharks... just look at my kitchen table and seats legs - oh they were good teething ! lol
If I decided to take on another dog it would be a senior as they may have some medical issues but you know what you get in many ways.
Please consider a senior because they are great!
