Our group is over 35 years old and our goal is to help Pekingese in need. But where are the Pekingese? We don’t know.
This week, a shelter that we have worked w for years asked for help.
A tiny Maltese and a small miniature Australian Shepherd puppy were in the shelter.
The shelter was sure the owners would show up. They even tracked microchip papers on the Australian Shepherd but it was a dead end. (No one had checked the chip and it wasn’t updated.). When a puppy is bought and it has a microchip, people assume the sellers have done that. Nope.
The shelter needed help. It was overcrowded. Could we help these two. We said yes. So for now they are w me. Paddington has told them the rules and both girls said “YES SIR.” We’ve got another coming Monday. It’s a crazy time in rescue.

Oh dear Linda. I hear our shelters here are getting full too.
Things are so expensive all over the world and I don't need to tell you all that pets do cost a lot, especially if they are ill .
People have to leave them at the pound. Oh that must be so hard to do.
I hope you find loving homes for them all.
