Stephanie saw them and did all she could to help them. She put out food and got them to go to a safer area. She contacted our rescue and after seeing how desperate these dogs were, we wanted to help them. The dogs were in an area of West Virginia in an area that we don't cover. But we wanted to help! The dogs needed saving.
The whole group went to my vet in Virginia Beach. Sassy/Ginger's face had hope. They were all young, most under a year. Amee fostered her and then she was adopted. Her mom is a vet and she has three doggy siblings.
She sleeps on her mom's bed.
I hope she doesn't take all the space. LOL You can see how happy she is.
She has all the love-- and toys-- she deserves.
We don't have DNA on Sassy-- but her coat is short. I thought it would be fluffy. She LOVES to go hiking and she is the fastest one in the group. I wonder if she has Min Pin in her. Her coat and speed point to that. All of the West Virginia 6 found wonderful homes. They are all loved and they have all they could ever want. From abandoned to cherished. THAT is rescue!

It was wonderful when all those poor dogs that were just out in the forest got a loving home.
