This is Jackie Chan. He is with a rescue group in Stuarts Draft, VA.
Jackie Chan is a 5 year old purebred Pekingese that came into a local shelter after being neglected by his former owners. He was kept outside, used for breeding and terribly neglected.
Jackie is blind but that doesn't keep him from enjoying life or being a great companion. He loves to be held like a baby and exploring the backyard. Jackie is good with other dogs and will make someone an adorable "baby." That is very sad but he looks a bright and happy guy like Meghann says above.
so- who has the kennel cough - the pekes or your husband ???? LOL
oh wishing we could take him in! My husband just got notice they are closing his office and laying everyone off so our new doggie adoption plans are on hold for a little bit :(
