I NEED HELP TRANSPORTING THIS PEKE, ZACK, OUT OF A SHELTER IN ANNAPOLIS, MD, TO RICHMOND. IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE EMAIL EITHER
HAVENINHIM@AOL.COM OR
POTOMACPEKES@GMAIL.COM. THANKS!!

Remember Scotty Butters? He's what some would refer to as an albino Peke-- we don't know if that's what he truly is (you have to have medical testing for that), but he's a sweet, wonderful dog! He loves belly rubs and will clasp your hand with his paws as if he is saying, "um, please rub my belly more..."

Butters lives in NY/NJ (he has two homes!) and his mom now has a foster dog (Japanese Chin) named Peppy. She calls him Bucky because he has a serious underbite. :-)

Peppy has a bad kennel cough, so he is on meds from the shelter. Anna said, "his appetite is good and he is drinking water and looks well -- trying to keep him apart from Butters, so he doesn't catch it. My mom is so funny and sweet -- she usually goes swimming a few times a week in the afternoons, but I just spoke with her and she said "I am staying home today, just in case Peppy needs me... you know, I never left you home alone while when you were sick!" Awww.... what a grandmom!!"
Peppy's owner died and he ended up in a shelter in Philadelphia.

Look at his tongue! It's kind of a fluke of the camera, but it's hysterical. He is with East Coast Asian Dog Rescue. He is a sweet and kind boy, who loves people, other dogs -- even cats!

Butters doesn't mind-- he still gets a lot of love. He's perfectly willing to share his family. He was a foster dog once and know how important foster homes are. If you're interested in helping our group, just email us at

Chins do have long tongues and are very lovely dogs - I am sending him adoption vibes :)
I hope Peppy's meds kick in for kennel cough is awful - keep that Butters away from it for he looks a delicate soul.
I have never seen a albino dog , let alone a peke! He is really cute but I think our strong summer light would be very harmful to Scotty Butters .
Butters is so unique!
Thanks you Genise for offering to help transport Zack!! And Cris and Chris and Tino and Mary Elizabeth, who are all helping with his transport. I love our Peke family!!
Linda
