I was contacted by a local shelter today. They said they had a four year old who didn't like eye drops-- could I take him?
I went to see him-- well, he isn't 4! His eyes were in bad shape, but he let me put eye drops in. I carry "refresh" eye drops in single doses and I opened one of those. I was able to clean his eyes out and he never snapped at me. I whistled to him and his tail wagged and he kept giving me kisses.
If you have name suggestions, send them on. And if you would like to give an older boy a home, let me know. They deserve to end their lives being loved.

I agree with Ernie (somehow reminds me of TN Ernie Ford:) Was he a stray? Poor baby. So glad PVPC is taking him!
