FLETCH--SWEET BOY

Fletch came into rescue in 2013.  He was turned into a shelter by his owner.
This was his shelter picture.  He was shutting down there.  Shelters, even with loving workers, can be a scary place.
When he came into our care, he was so thin-- ten pounds.   He was very underweight.
We don't know how old he was, but he was energetic once he began to put on weight.
At first, he had five small meals a day to get weight on him.   And he responded so well!
I looked back at my home visit notes for his family (yes, I keep extensive files).   I wrote, "I love this couple. Wonderful home visit!"   Fletch joined their family four months after he came into rescue.  He had gained weight and was ready for his new life.   And he's had a great one!   Just look at that smile.   He has a loving mom and dad.   That's what rescue is about. ❤️
