FAREWELL SOPHIE

PRECIOUS SOPHIE

Sweet Sophie left this life in the arms of her mom, Tricia.
She came into rescue in May of 2015.
She was in really bad shape, and needed help.  Dr. Meador helped her.
It didn't take long-- Tricia came to my home to meet Sophie.   Tricia said if you wanted to see an angel, you just had to look at Sophie.   She was a sweetheart.  When her mom ccame home, Sophie just danced.   She knew she hit the lottery when she was adopted by her mom.
Tricia came one day, and I remember we sat outside in the shade and she held Sophie for two hours.  She didn't want to let her go.
It was love at first sight.
Sophie was blind.  She had a "small eye" that never formed. And the other eye had no sight.
But, it didn't effect her personality.
She was such a happy dog.
She was always smiling.
From the first moment Tricia met her...
She was absolutely adored.
She was a perfect little girl.
She was ready for every holiday.
She loved being dressed up.
Her groomer adored her and always took extra time to make her even more beautiful than she already was.
Sophie had rain geer, holiday clothes, cold weather things.
She could look right at her foster mom with so much love.   She saw her with her heart.
She loved seeing Santa-- and I'm sure it was mutual.
Sophie was beautiful in every way.    Sophie declined because of kidney failure.  We can fix so much, but not all.   We wish we could.
Sophie had nothing but love from the time she came into rescue and into her mom's arms.   She is missed so much.   Run free now, sweet girl. 💜
