JACKSON AND HIS FOREVER HOME

Jackson came into rescue in November of 2020.
His owner knew he was almost blind, but she couldn't afford medical care for him.
She took him to her vet to be put down, but they told her about us and asked if she would like rescue to help.
She said yes-- she loved him, but couldn't do what he needed.
He had months of medical care-- he saw Animal Eye Care in Chesapeake (VA) a lot.  Marti, his foster mom, was so good with him.
He had cataract surgery and months of follow up care.
Then, he was ready for adoption and he had someone waiting.
I love people who aren't afraid to adopt an older dog.  The older ones need homes so much.
Jackson has fit into his new home so well.   He's been there almost a year (April).
He loves his new home and mom.
He is such a sweet boy.
Yes, I think he is very content!
