JELLY-- WONDERFUL BOY

Jelly came into rescue in 2011-- how can it be 11 years ago!
He was in a Maryland shelter and we were asked to help him.
His mom has this special glass picture of him.

He was supposed to be 3 when we got him-- we never really know unless there's an actual birthday.
Jelly had trust issues at first.
Time and patience make a huge difference and his  foster mom/adoptive mom was so patient with him.
He took time, but slowly, slowly...
He came around and felt safe.
He even smiled.  💓
He is the cutest boy-- like a little white bear.  Look at his eyes.
And his smile!!  The joy of knowing you are loved and safe.   I use the word "safe" a lot.  But, the ones we get have often been through so much that being safe is critical.
He goes on walks-- in Florida.   He moved to a warmer place.
His mom stays in touch.  I'm so glad.   I love knowing how well our foster dogs have done.   It's what keeps foster/volunteer people going.  We love the happy stories!
