SUZIE ADOPTED

In September, we were asked to help a dog who was not in our area.  It was a plea from a rural shelter.   Normally, we can't, but we made an exception.   (Having foster homes where they can go is critical-- we can't help if we don't have a place to put them.)
She was in such rough shape,  A stray and not taken care of.
But, she came to us on a transport.   And...
she fit right into Sherry and Jennifer's home.
We found out she was heartworm positive, so she went through treatment and the other medical care she needed.   And she did so well.
After she finished her treatment, she was ready for adoption.  But, her foster parents, Sherry and her niece, Jennifer, couldn't bear to let her go.   Suzie came a long way to find a home-- and she has it now.  A perfect, forever home.  💜💖
