Mugs was one of our foster dogs in 2005. His foster mom, Toni, fell in love and adopted him. He lived happily for almost six years with her.

He was a beautiful parti-color Pekingese who loved his balls and his mom. Farewell, sweet Mugs-- you will be so missed.

We also had to say good-bye to Bali. Bali and his Peke brother, Lazslo, came into rescue and we hoped they would have many happy years in a new home. The day after we got them, Bali began to hemorhage and an exam showed an inoperable mass. No surgery could save him. We won't let a dog suffer if we cannot save him, so someone held him while he was released from his pain.

Farewell, sweet Bali. We didn't know you long, but you were loved already.

So sad but you were there for him.
The farewell's always make me tear up. I am always so happy for the love these Peke's were finally blessed with and gave back so much more! But, so sad to lose such a dear loved one. What beautiful Peke's Mugs and Bali are. May they rest free in Heaven!
:( Glad that you were there at the end, I am sure they are playing and hopping around the rainbow bridge!
