KOKO UPDATE

Koko was my foster dog last year.   She is a beauty!
She is one of those Pekes that you look at and just say, "wow."
What can I say-- she is stunning.
She was adopted last fall and moved in and took over her new home.  (She lives in my area.)
Last month, Koko was dianosed with IMHA-- Hemolytic Anemia.  This is the same disease that Lexie had.   So, I knew the journey they were beginning and how difficult this was going to be.
So far, Koko has rallied and her red blood count is pretty good.    If you are not familiar with this disease, I did a lot of blogs on Lexie about it.  But, here is a good link to tell you more:  Click here: Canine Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA)
Koko is out at the fence, telling the neighbor dogs what to do.  That's a good sign of how well she is doing.
She seems to be in good spirits and her new family is thrilled that she is doing so well.   So am I!    Keep it up, Koko!   We are all here for you!

Thank you all for your caring support. I am sure that you are responsible for her recovery that seems even to surprise her doctor.
