POPPY --WELCOME TO RESCUE

We were asked by a shelter in the western part of Virginia to help with Poppy.
Her owner had turned her in.   We received the first picture and we said YES!
Then, Roger picked her up-- and whoops-- she was a mix.  She may be part Peke and part Tibetan Spaniel.
That's okay-- we were already committed to her.
She dressed up for a photo shoot.  I think Desi loaned her some of her accessories.
Look at her with her pink bows in.
I think she is looking for a treat.
Poppy is almost 8 years old.   I think she has a birthday coming up soon.
She weighs about 16 pounds.
She acts like she has modeled before-- what a good job she is doing.
Do you like toys?
I think so!
She is ready to go out!
Poppy is ready for a forever home!   Her adoption fee is $300 and she has had all her medical updated.  She appears to be housetrained and she is great with other dogs.   She is a little timid at first, and would prefer a home where someone is there most of the time.   She is a sweet girl with no medical issues.   Welcome to rescue, sweet one!

Poppy is adorable. She looks a bit like our Mercer Meyer except Mercer is a Pom-Peke (I think) because he looks mostly like a Pom but his little nose is turned up on the end which I think is Peke in nature.

Welcome Holly and I hope you find a home quickly.

Wow, she is gorgeous. I think her and Theo came from the same home?! They did both come from around the same area and they sure do look alike! Welcome sweet one. I bet you find a home quickly!

Do you know what mix she is? She looks a lot like my dog who recently passed, and we never got a DNA test on my dog. I'm looking for information on what mine could've been, and this is identical.

Thank you!
