Bandit came into rescue in 2014 from a NC shelter. He was such a sweet boy. I was at the vet the other day with Starlight (who needed some bloodwork done) and an adorable Peke walked in. I asked his name and she said, "Bandit!" Wait, that was our bandit. I had done the home check and loved this person. She adopted Bandit and he is her whole world.
When he came into rescue, he was dirty, had horrible skin, loss of hair. He really needed help.
He healed and his hair came back and he felt SO much better.
He was adopted to a wonderful woman who lives near me.
She absolutely adores her boy!! And he gets incredible care and love.
Seeing before and after pictures, knowing as a rescue, we have been a bridge on their journey to wholeness, makes all the work so worthwhile. Just look at Bandit now-- he is such a happy dog. I love it!!
