Rupert Diesel was briefly part of our rescue in 2009. His mom was his transporter and she let me know she was in love. He never was available to anyone else.
He was heartworm positive and in rough shape, but he thrived under his mom's care. He fell in love with her, too.
Rupert lived a wonderful life with friends and people who loved him.
His sister, Nickie Dickens, died almost four years ago.
His sister, Duchess Carla, passed away, too, and they will both be there to greet him at the Rainbow Bridge.
Rupert was a very cherished boy. Run free, now, little man.

What a dear old boy Rupert was. I know he will be So missed .
There have been so many Goodbyes lately but we can easily see that there were very happy years in between rescue and Rainbow Bridge.
