Gracie came to us not even two weeks ago. She was a sick little girl. How she survived as a stray in West Virginia is a miracle.
She is so tiny at 6.7 pounds and had a lot going on. She was on antibiotics and when she finished, her lungs flared up w pneumonia. It was so critical that she was admitted to an ER Vet.
As most of you know, emergency care is very expensive. In rescue, we can often do what others can’t and so many if you helped. The donations of the “double your donation” fundraiser really helped.
Gracie fought hard and needed oxygen longer than expected, but she was able to finally return to her foster home.
She will need a lot of care and meds. She also has spine issues and her foster mom is a former vet tech, so she knows how to help Gracie Thank you to all of you who have helped and encouraged us We appreciate you!
