KASEY AND GRANGER

Granger came into rescue w Kasey in 2016. We also took in Tink, but I don’t have updates on her. 

Granger was young and thin. The shelter demanded that the owner turn in the dogs due to horrific living conditions. 

Kasey had been caged extensively and was afraid of people.   It took 18 months for him not to be fearful of his foster dad. 

Now he has siblings and here he is w Melrose. 

Once he settled in, he became a daddy’s boy.  

Granger became a box boy. 🤣🤣. My daughter adopted him so he’s here a lot.  Pekes everywhere. 

Kasey’s life went from one of caged neglect to total love and care.  

Granger was younger and had not been through as much as Kasey.  We wonder if Kasey is Granger’s dad. 
They both have big, beautiful eyes. 

Kasey enjoys a soft bed— but not Granger 🤦‍♀️

They are both big Pekes.  Granger is about 19 pounds. He walks a lot, and he’s not fat. Just big boned. Kasey is about 23-24 pounds.  

Next to Zoey, Granger looks huge.  Zoey is about 12 pounds. I think she’s all fluff. 

Grangers shelter picture is so different than him now.  He still sits up, but now he’s cared for. 

And look at beautiful Kacey now. 
Granger and Kasey are beautiful.  And loved. 

 It’s what rescue is all about. ❤️❤️
