Lulu Bea came into rescue in February 2014. She was 8 years old.
She had belonged to someone who bred her over and over-- five times. :-( Then, she went to live with another person and he was losing his job and house. He asked us for help. I'm so glad he turned to rescue and didn't just give her away.
She was overweight, at 22 pounds. She came to us and after several months, she was adopted by Charlie.
I LOVE adopters who stay in touch with us. Charlie has kept me up to date on how she's doing. She's 14 now, and just had a birthday. He shared pictures with me of her birthday dinner. Filet and carrots were yummy!. And she had doggy ice cream for dessert.
