Gracie continues to improve.
She has steam treatments a few times a day to help her lungs.
Norbert, the beautiful poodle, is very protective of Gracie. He tries to keep her warm. He watches over her.
Gracie has spinal compression and sometimes she needs help expressing her bladder. Aimee, her foster mom, knows how to care for her since she was a vet tech. We are grateful.
When we get a Peke out of a shelter, we don’t know what condition they are in. We hope they are okay. But, most of the time, we need to do a lot to help them.
Gracie still needs to be spayed and she really needs a dental. But, those can’t be done until her lungs are rechecked and she is doing much better. We will give her all the time she needs.
For now, she is eating well. She is even getting a little of her sassyness back. That’s a happy thing! 💖🌸
