He wasn't too sure why he had been put there. He was under two years old. Of course, any age is too young to be in a shelter!Must Love Pekes is a blog for those who love Pekingese -- their looks, their antics, their personalities. It is written by me, Linda, and I have been rescuing Pekingese for over 20 years. Lots of them have come through our home. We have loved them all.

Oh Linda, you know I have always loved Camden / Campbell and if I lived in the States - he would be in my home! LOL
He is just the most beautiful boy and I must say his new family are looking after "Mr Handsome" really well!! He looks wonderful and I wish his family all the best with the move to their new home. Better make sure Camden has his new address on his suitcase's when he moves :)
look at those ears. beautiful!!
When I got Campbell/Camden out of the shelter he was so scared and depressed. I brought him to my home to meet my pack. After a good bath and some lunch he began to come out of his shell. He turned out to be the most beautiful (handsome) peke I have fostered. I'm thrilled he is now living with his Mom and Dad. They are the best parents any animal could wish for. Not only did Camden get his wish I got mine too. The best FUR-EVER home. !!!
Wow, he looks wonderful!!!
It's amazing how the rescue dogs blossom in their new forever-homes.....

Once we get settled, I'm sure Camden will love having peke-play-dates. ;-) He really is doing well. He still has some adjustment issues and HATES change. (We -- with him -- went to DC for the weekend, and he slept under the bed the night we got back.) I'm VERY grateful to Jeanne for the work she did with him and the patience she's had with us.
