Louie came to us as a stray-- he had an injured eye, but we tried drops to see if it would heal. On the day he went for his neuter, his eye ruptured. He had to have emergency surgery. We've had a lot of eye emergencies lately!
Before his surgery, he was cuddled by his foster mom. Love can do a lot of healing to the spirit.
He has to wear the hated cone. But, it is for his safety. He had a drain in his eye a few days, but now that's out and he's healing. The rupture was small enough that the eye could be saved. We're so glad!
He has pretty comfy surroundings while he gets better. Baby playpens (especially hard sided ones) make great recovery areas!
I think he likes it! He's all relaxed on his back, so that tells me he's going to be just fine. Give him a hug for us, Monica!
